Am I in the Mezaic®?

If you have received a confirmation message back, we have received your photograph and you will definitely (subject to censorship) appear in the Mezaic® print!
 

Will I be able to see my face?

Yes! At One Big Picture we use specialist software that colourises your photograph to create the overall image but does not block out the details of the photographs used.

How big will my photograph be in the print?

Well, that depends upon how many people are in the image with you. For a print that is made up of 10,000 people your photograph will measure 1cm x 1cm, which is plenty big enough to be able to find yourself!

How do you collect the photographs?

We collect photographs using an MMS and UPLOAD service that is specially set up for your particular special edition Mezaic® print.

What is the minimum amount of photographs you require?

At One Big Picture we work on artwork that is made from 250 to 20,000 photographs. If you have a small group, don’t worry as we can repeat photographs to make up the numbers!

How big are the prints?

A print that is made up of 20,000 photographs measures approximately 140cm x 100cm. If there are fewer photographs we can make the print smaller or the photographs larger.

Do you only produce prints?

No! Once we have created your artwork the image can be printed onto anything you like, larger or smaller than the original print.

How do you create the print design?

Our designers work with you to create the design. Once you are happy with everything we then make arrangements to collect the photographs.

Do you censor the photographs?

Absolutely. All photographs submitted are thoroughly checked to ensure that they are suitable for public consumption. Any offensive or unsuitable photographs will be removed before going to print.

How do you market the product?

This can work on various levels. You can take ownership of the product and use your marketing team/designers or we assist you with any advertising artwork and marketing campaign ideas. Both of these can work alongside your existing means of communication with the consumer. E.g. Text, email, website, magazines, social networks etc…..

How will the prints be distributed?

One Big Picture take care of everything - we design the print, collect the photographs, create the Mezaic® artwork, take online orders, arrange for the printing and wrapping of the prints and distribute them accordingly!
